BHR is looking for opening bands
that want to share the stage! If you're in a band and would
like to swap gigs, let us know by emailing
info@bluehandrecital.com. We're only looking for pop/rock
bands, no thrash metal, death metal, nu-metal, old skool metal or
punk bands please.
Keep your radio's dialed to
either 91.3fm or 92.5fm and you might hear us during their local
radio shows. Here's an interesting fact...to date, 7 of the 11
songs on "Dirty Little Secret" have been on the radio.

Blue Hand Recital (BHR) burst onto
the Akron music scene in 2000 with a unique blend of power pop/rock
that's guaranteed to get your feet moving. Influenced by modern
artists such as 3 Doors Down, Matchbox Twenty, Lenny Kravitz and
Nickelback, BHR jams with a diverse mix of rock songs, crowd
favorites and power ballads. BHR released its first full-length
album, "Dirty Little Secret," in August 2002. This effort captures
the energy of a live performance in studio-quality sound that the
band calls a "tasty treat." From the risqué title track, "Dirty
Little Secret," to the seductively sweet "Too Good", BHR has had the
luxury of watching 7 of the 11 tracks receive radio play. The highly
anticipated follow up release “5 Ways to Thursday” was released in
September 2005. Featuring the upbeat boogie of “Toe Tappin
Hootenanny” and the haunting lucidity of “Not for Me”, this new ep
highlights the maturity of the band as well as their versatility.
The band's thought-provoking lyrics and cross-breed of styles is a
refreshing treat both on the stage and on your favorite radio
station. Both albums, produced by Rick Eckman and recorded at
Akron's EHB Productions, are available for purchase through the Web
site, and at area Borders Books & Music locations. Appealing to
everyone from the mullet-headed rocker to the screaming 15-year-old
girl, Blue Hand Recital possesses the right amount of sass to get
you moving.
